ORIGIN
SCOUT started with two ideas that kept colliding.
Years ago I owned a rare Seiko Contra Fieldmaster — a wonderfully strange modular field watch. Running around New York City in a heavy rainstorm one day, the digital module worked loose and disappeared. I never found it, but the idea of a watch built as a system stuck with me.
At the same time, I was thinking about my son. I didn’t want to make him a kids’ watch he’d simply outgrow. I wanted a serious field system that could start compact and simple, then expand and flex with him — different instruments, different configurations, different ways to carry capability.
That became SCOUT: one compact titanium platform with interchangeable instruments for time, digital utility and navigation.

More than finding north —
Find your way.
A compass that only points north tells you how you’re oriented — but so can the sun and a stick. North alone won’t get you to your destination.
SCOUT-C equips you to set and follow a bearing, using its 60-click unidirectional bezel and fixed direction index to turn orientation into a direction you can actually use.
The Grade AA liquid-filled lumed dial stays readable at a glance. Domed sapphire gives exceptional scratch resistance. Luminous dial and bezel markings keep your reference visible day or night.
Finding north is orientation. Holding a bearing is navigation.

Built for actual navigation: a usable bearing reference, luminous markings, Grade 5 titanium construction, and the dedicated wayfinding module in the SCOUT system.
How the bearing system works
Point where you want to go. Rotate the bezel until its north marker aligns with compass north. As you move, keep those north references aligned and the fixed direction index points you back onto your chosen bearing.
Take readings with the compass level and away from phones, magnets, and large metal objects. Account for magnetic declination when needed. A wrist compass still requires navigation skills and judgment.

Wear it your way
How SCOUT fits.
SCOUT isn’t locked to one position on the wrist. Two instruments can be linked together, split across the wrist, or offset along the strap.
Same modules. Same strap. Three different ways to tune the fit around your wrist and the way you want to carry them.
Linked
Connect two instruments with a titanium link so they move as one articulated unit. Best when you want both instruments together and easy to read in the same glance.
Split
Position the instruments on opposite sides of the wrist. It spreads the system out, keeps the top of the wrist clean, and lets the strap carry each module independently.
Offset
Place the instruments apart along the strap instead of directly beside each other. Offset the second module until the setup follows your wrist comfortably and lands where you want it.
SCOUT TITANIUM LINK
Make the system flex.
SCOUT modules can be worn directly beside each other — or connected with a Grade 5 titanium link to add space and articulation between instruments.
The link allows a multi-module setup to follow the curve of your wrist more naturally, while giving each instrument a little more room to move.

Which SCOUT module is right for me?
Choose SCOUT-A for a clear A-9 automatic dial, SCOUT-D for digital timing functions, or SCOUT-C for setting and following a bearing. Pair Automatic + Compass for mechanical time and navigation, Automatic + Digital for mechanical time plus digital utility, or Digital + Compass for digital timing and navigation. What comes with each setup?
Every setup includes one black G10 strap total. A-9 Automatic, Digital and Compass each include their named module. Automatic + Compass, Automatic + Digital and Digital + Compass include the two named modules. The Complete System includes A-9 Automatic, Digital and Compass.
Are the modules interchangeable?
SCOUT-A, SCOUT-D and SCOUT-C are interchangeable modules within the SCOUT platform. Bundles add modules, not multiple straps.
Does each setup include a strap?
Yes. Every setup includes one black G10 strap. Multi-module bundles receive one strap total.
How compact is SCOUT on the wrist?
The platform measures 28MM across the case without the crown, 33MM lug-to-lug and 12.75MM high, with a 20MM strap width.
Is SCOUT-C meant for actual navigation?
Yes. Its rotating bearing bezel and fixed direction index help you set and follow a bearing. Take level readings away from magnetic interference, account for declination where needed, and use navigation skills and judgment.
What are shipping and delivery expectations?
Redux ships from Canada. The current shipping policy allows 1–3 business days for processing, with dispatches made weekly. Launch periods can take longer.

What is the Relentless Guarantee?
You may request a return within 30 days of delivery. Items must be new, unworn and unused, with their original contents. Discretionary watch returns have a $75 restocking fee; straps and accessories have a 15% fee. Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility for discretionary returns. Defective, damaged or incorrect items are handled without those fees. Read the full return terms.
Redux time instruments carry a one-year warranty under the Relentless Guarantee. Covered defects are repaired or replaced. Normal wear, accidental damage, misuse, unauthorized changes and consumables such as straps are excluded.

Modularity is the name of the game... so i luv the adaptability of the different modules and how I want it configured for my day's adventures. -- And did i mention that it reminds me of Ripley's dual-watch prop in the Alien's movie?! Awesome-sauce. Currently i have mine configured with HONNR + digital module, but will eventually get the scout-compass as well. :)

Field watches don’t need to be boring… they can be full of character, like the SCOUT and its Seiko Contra vibe! My A-9 no-date with Seiko automatic movement is sweet… really crisp, legible at a glance, and it looks great. The Casio digital module is quirky, nerdy, a bit of a sleeper, and it fulfills the water resistance promise at least dipping my hand in creeks. The compass module is really well made, but admittedly I sometimes have to tap it to encourage the needle to fully find north.
Although I’ve worn one or two modules, I’ll typically have all three together on the Redux Extremalon strap (which is really great in comfort, durability, and style). On my 6-1/4” wrist, they’re best separated along the strap. But bigger wrists would be great because the titanium coupler pieces would make the kit more cuff-like in a great way. I daydream about having a bunch of the titanium couplers and making a full bracelet from them. The SCOUT is so much fun to wear, and it always gets double-takes at watch get-togethers, where its individuality shines.

I love the quirkiness of the Scout, especially the double-headed brutalist-like design nod to the original Seiko Contra. And contrary to its chonky angular look, it's very light on the wrist—it feels like it's barely there! I've taken this hiking several times and it's gotten submerged in everything from mud to mineralized volcanic spring water, and it just keeps going.

I’ve been wearing my scout for about 2 years now and it’s truly the perfect combination of size and function. It’s hard wearing and has coped with everything from the daily office driver to long hikes and camping expeditions.
The watch wears incredibly light thanks to its titanium case, (and the super comfy parachute strap.) and remains very legible and easy to read. The small amount of lume material on the digital unit helps locate it when worn alone even in the darkness of a tent at 2am. Although it’s so light I generally wear it all the time.
A lovely watch that will last me for many years. My only regret is not getting the compass module when I had the chance.

Overall watch is really good but came with wrong automatic movement. It was promised at Kickstarter campaign that the auto movement would hacking but it wasn't when received.
