"EVERYTHING A TOOL WATCH SHOULD BE ...
... I've been wearing mine on the ambulance, or with a suit or my jeans. It's been subjected to mud, sweat, monsoons, and other unspeakable contaminants. It's minimal and understated like a timekeeping incarnation that embodies everything a tool watch should aspire to be." — Timothy J.

Wrist/Fit Experience
Wrist/Fit Experience
- Is it too small? I'm worried it won't fit me.
"The case is very comfortable to wear and for its size has great wrist presence - if you're on the edge because of the size I would say go for it." William B.
- I haven't worn a watch in years. How does the titanium feel?
Light and solid. “I love this watch. For years I made do with not wearing a watch at all, and relying on my phone for the time. No more. This watch re-sold me on the idea of watches, and I wear it every day. The heft of the titanium case on my wrist feels like pure quality, and I enjoy the design references to WW2 era watches.” Michael M.
- I want this to last. How durable is this?
“Bulletproof. I use this watch while ocean fishing, shooting, hiking, hunting, and not a scratch. Recently I was travelling and didn't take it off for an entire month. That includes showering and swimming with it. No issues whatsoever." Andrew S.
- Is it too plain? How's it look in person?
"Bought it 5 yrs ago. Still my best time piece due to the simplicity and logoless exterior." Sam P.
Serious capability. Compact form.
A 28 mm titanium mission watch with interchangeable analog, digital, and compass instruments.
SCOUT brings timekeeping and navigation into a compact system made to carry the instrument your day calls for. The SCOUT compass uses a Grade 5 titanium case and a fully lumed rotating bearing bezel for setting and following a bearing.
Photographs show different instrument and strap configurations. They do not represent a single all-included kit. Consult the release options for exact contents and availability.

DESIGN DEBRIEF
SCOUT ORIGIN
We enlisted SCOUT
SCOUT is a waypoint, which is a navigational tool used by pilots to chart their flight across the globe. Waypoints are composed of 5-letters and made to be spoken as a word so pilots can quickly transmit their location via radio. This particular waypoint stands in upstate New York.
SCOUT because we must go first, go ahead, and build the path for those who come after us, and while it’s easier to stay in the back, complain and cower — we choose to chart the course and walk in front and share the intel. Pathfinders.
SCOUT DESIGN
The venerable 1/A and A-9 were military specs for onboard nav tools in U.S. aircraft.

Problems. Solved.
-
You want iconic design without vintage fragile.
Built like a tank, with a workhorse movement rated to run twenty years before needing service. WWII fighter pilot instrument dials and essential designs are the epitome of proven form and function. -
You're not generic, your watch shouldn't be either.
Military-grade materials such as aerospace-grade titanium, ultra-hard anti-reflective scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, super-bright luminous paint. -
You want absolutist function, not jewelry.
The unidirectional counterclockwise rotating diver bezel provides triple function of timer, countdown, and second time zone. -
You hate trivial distractions.
Your life does not need the clutter of shiny things plastered with logos and busy with messy, unreadable text.
-
You don't need another thing to plug in. Just get up and go.
Powered by your movement — avoiding the pain of constant charging and the waste of frequent battery changes.
SCOUT FUNCTION
Titanium grade 5 encased. Powered by your adventures.
Built from premium materials inside and out with scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, which we've coated with an anti-reflective glare layer. Titanium grade 5, bead blasted and 50% lighter than a stainless steel equivalent.
The unidirectional titanium bezel prevents accidental rotation, and provides rugged precision machined teeth for grip.
This watch is rated to 20 ATM with a screw down crown and streamlined crown guards to protect the movement from external shocks.
The dial is matte black with blue-green luminous paint that glows at night, paired with a C3 green second hand and bezel marker.
Our date window is circular with bevel to increase visibility of the numeral and add to the overall iconic design, with white numerals on black.

"Offers what so many watches these days don't: a variety of unique, nuanced faces inspired by iconic designs in watch history at a very versatile and wearable 39mm size."
Bernard Capulong, Everyday Carry
-
"Mission accomplished."
Editor, Gear Hungry
-
"Blends a number of different elements into one attractive package."
James Enloe, Worn & Wound
I love the quirkiness of the Scout, especially the double-headed brutalist-like design nod to the original Seiko Contra. And contrary to its chonky angular look, it's very light on the wrist—it feels like it's barely there! I've taken this hiking several times and it's gotten submerged in everything from mud to mineralized volcanic spring water, and it just keeps going.
I’ve been wearing my scout for about 2 years now and it’s truly the perfect combination of size and function. It’s hard wearing and has coped with everything from the daily office driver to long hikes and camping expeditions.
The watch wears incredibly light thanks to its titanium case, (and the super comfy parachute strap.) and remains very legible and easy to read. The small amount of lume material on the digital unit helps locate it when worn alone even in the darkness of a tent at 2am. Although it’s so light I generally wear it all the time.
A lovely watch that will last me for many years. My only regret is not getting the compass module when I had the chance.
