Paratrooper Strap with Titanium Hardware

Material doesn’t hold up in active environment, buckle is bulky, lackluster hardware, otherwise soft and comfortable.

The material is too stretchy and thin so it loses it’s shape quickly compared to other US brands some that are under $30. I get well over a year out of those, I got a few months out of these before they became stretched out and wouldn’t keep the watch from flopping around anymore.

I do however like the wearing style and the security of a single pass nato that doesn’t add much bulk, for that alone I came here to buy a few to replace what I got during kickstarter but for this price I’d expect a 2 pack, these are not worth anywhere near $60.

If you are sweating and getting dirty these don’t last, which wouldn’t be a huge deal if they were reasonably priced, I would pay $100 for a 3 pack not $180. If you fly a desk, they are pretty comfy because they are so soft but the clasp is bulky and can get uncomfortable. I wear it inside out because otherwise the hook digs into my wrist.

The titanium hardware matches my HONNR well but there is no refinement there, for better or worse. No rough edges but just basic cheap feeling stamped metal, certainly nothing that speaks to it being a $60 strap.

As the title mentions, this Paratrooper strap is a nice edition to my Titanium Citizen Garrison. I wanted to match the material of the case with the hardware on the strap. It makes for a classic field watch aesthetic that brings out the character. The big up vote for me was being Nickel free. I ended up getting the black version to have more of a neutral color scheme to be able to wear with anything since it’s my daily timepiece. You can almost forget that you’re wearing the watch because of how comfortable it is. Will come back to order more in the future! 10/10 would recommend.

Love this band—the elastic arrives slightly faded, with a vintage vibe, and it’s remarkably easy to size for any number of 20mm lug watches. Just get the elastic through the spring bars, and, boom, you’re ready to go. I like this band for activities—running, anything active—and if you tune the fit correctly, it’s secure without cutting off the circulation. Keep the extra material to run under the clip to prevent digging/chafing. If you’re on the fence, pull the trigger.

I use my strap for my amazing fit fitness tracker and love it ! Definitely a different use case scenario but perfect for this strap style.

It’s an odd strap…. The elastic is too stretchy compared with the market leader, but the hardware is great. The hook angle IS wide but I understand why.
It is starting to fray after one wear, which is disappointing .

How to wear it? What to do with the keeper?

I found a way to make it ‘zero pass’ which feels great but it needs to be another 2-3cm for that to really feel safe .. see the pic.. it’s a great way to wear it

I purchased 2 straps as part of the Kikstarter package. This was my first time owning and using this type of watchstrap. I enjoyed the functionality of being able to simply slip the watch on and off due to the elastic material. The big letdown of the strap was the elastic material started to fray and come apart at the end of the strap. This started occurring after only 2 or 3 weeks. Neither strap purchased would last 2 months of regular use.
I also agree with other reviews that the edges of the titanium feel very sharp, leading it to dig into the skin causing some irritation. Some smoothing of the sharp edges would help.

The strap is easy to get onto the timepiece and of course that's a plus. Quick efficient and not much to worry with. I love the design of the band and the buckle system. It is very light weight, this is still taking me some getting use to, but I do like it especially the elastic ability it has. It doesn't restrict the blood flow in my wrist and the watch does stay put once you adjust it properly. So far I have no complaints. Thanks

Titanium lasts for ever, the cord doesn't ... I would love to have an easy, inexpensive, (happy to contribute), way to fix what after years of wearing it, starts to look so-and-so or deteriorates.

The paratrooper strap is bit on a flimsy side,

quite a challenge to close around ones wrist.

I would have definitely preferred non stretchable material on this.

I grabbed this strap as part of the recent COURG42 / VALOR Kickstarter. It quickly became the daily driver strap on my VALOR - comfortable, easy to take off but still secure when worn. Since I wear it with the strap at its original length and inside of the buckle, it can be a bit annoying keeping it "threaded" through the strap loop when I take off or put on the watch, but that's a minor nit to pick. Overall, a solid option for a strap, and one which hasn't shown any problems despite daily wear over the past few months.

I vaguely remember having selected it in the Kickstarter campaign, ages ago. Then I received an email telling me that the band was not available anymore so I accepted to receive another, less fun one.

This paratrooper band is outstanding! The amount of stretch in the fabric and durability is fantastic. The titanium hardware does its job with aplomb.

1. Edges on the titanium hardware need to be rounded.
2. Hook Lip needs to be angled inwards a bit otherwise it bits the wrist
For this long time of waiting these incomplete details have no justification!

The strap certainly looks and feels great to wear!

Unfortunately, I lost my VALOR because I was wearing it on this strap while floating down a river:
It got snagged on a dead branch and the watch was pulled off my wrist, never to be seen again...
I'm not blaming this entirely on the strap... It was definitely stupid of me to not use the more secure NATO strap for this kind of activity.
Just a heads-up that:

This strap is for casual wear and not suitable for rougher outdoor activities.

One of the most comfortable watch straps I have ever worn.

There is far too much "give" in the elastic even when new; I can only assume it will get worse with age.

The most comfortable strap I have used!

Got the Olive Green strap with yellow line. Comfortable and secure. Recommend it.
