HONNR A-13A — Titanium Mission Watch

Attenzione non amo i padelloni, ma per un diver non vintage, anche se quadrato, 37mm sono davvero pochi. è comunque un orologio carino, ma con uno i due mm in più di diametro avrebbe spaccato!

The most unique watch I have, while at the same time being so simple and elegant.

The Arabic numerals are like the secret ingredient in grandma's recipe: clear, precise, and no-nonsense. You don't need a Ph.D. in time-telling to understand that when the minute hand points at the 12, it's chow time.

In summary, if you're looking for a watch that says, "I'm a modern adventurer with respect for history" but also "don't bother me, I'm busy being awesome," this watch is for you. Just remember, with this watch, you'll always be on time... for whatever it is you do, even if it's procrastinating with flair.

An A-13 aircraft clock is an instrument for navigation and also is used to register the flight hours for the pilot and the aircraft. These functions create a special relationship between human and machine. This watch is excellent around its 360 degrees of sight, and the magic is inside when you wear this marvel of design.

I really like the Honnr watch and am wearing it now. It is well sized for my wrist, lightweight, and easy to read day or night. I have an active lifestyle and have worn it hiking, swimming, and traveling. I am overall pleased to have purchased the watch and supported the company.
However, the crown often gets stuck closed and nearly impossible to open to adjust time or wind. Despite being as careful as possible, the crown is now scuffed up and a bit damaged. I have added a photo to the review. The rest of the watch is in perfect condition.

Good things come to those who wait. This is an excellent piece of kit. It keeps perfect time, the bezel is quality with excellent tolerances and lines up perfectly.

The fit and finish are excellent, and you add the light weight and how unobtrusive it is on the wrist; you got yourself a winner there. The shape and the legibility is also exceptional.

The straps are top tier. The hardware is so nice, you get other brands charging way way more for a comparable product.

I wear it and don't baby it. It's been on a variety of straps with a huge range of dressed up and down. It's an awesome piece that starts many conversations. Love it.

I'm wearing the HONNR as I write this. I've been a fan of the Waltham A-13A for years, and a fan of Redux as well. Elbert & Grace do a fantastic job of designing, promoting and delivering boutique watches that are unique and functional.

Although delivery was impacted by the pandemic and perhaps Redux's enthusiasm to deliver so many variations this time around, I maintained trust in their mission. And I empathized with the challenges. Elbert & Grace pushed through the difficulties, maintained positivity and ultimately delivered a watch that I love.

I have two Redux watches and I look forward to their next offering!

I've had my Honnr, for a few months now, and I like it a lot. It is impressively light, and the black/white simplicity is incredibly legible. The NATO strap is excellent, with nicely individual (and very good) hardware. Neither the heat sealed ends nor the holes have started to fray yet, which is excellent, and unusual, even for quite pricey NATOs.
My options were the DLC case, no-date dial, and single pass NATO style strap. The bezel action is nice and crisp, perhaps a tiny bit too easy to turn.
The case and bezel finishing is excellent.
The crown position and protection with the single guard are a very stylish piece of design.
I love that the branding on the dial is so stealthy, gloss black on the matte/satin dial.
The lume is not quite as good as I would like (very few watches reach that level, only really my Venturo and Pelagos do), but perhaps that is because all of the numerals are relatively slim. I've noticed that dust seems to stay stuck in the knurling on the crown, which is a very fine texture.
So far, the whole watch has resisted any attempts at damage, even though I have worn it a lot to my woodwork shop. Bravo
I have to mention that delivery of these watches after the Kickstarter campaign took far too long. Years, in fact. Funded May '21, delivered Dec '23. That was not good, and there were plenty of backers who had given up on these watches before they even got them. Redux are to be commended for not giving up, but nevertheless, I cannot review the watch without this being said.

My Redux HONNR exceeds my expectations! The level of fit, the finish and attention to detail shows that Redux is a company to keep your eye on. When they have their next offering I'm going to be at the front of the line ready to buy another watch! If you are a watch geek with exacting standards, you won't be disappointed.

I just unpacked this watch ten minutes ago and O my my: it ticks all the boxes I can imagine. The packing is both stylish and sturdy, the four-watch-travel case is a bonus I have been wanting to buy for years. The instruction manual in the cue card form is excellent. The watch is nothing short of magnificient - I was a little worried about the usability of the crown but it is spot on. The combination of the sharp lugs and the rounded corners on the case is lovely. The sandblasted finish is spot on, the dial and the hands are extremely easy to read. The weight? The watch is unnoticably light on wrist. I have been in love with (and buying) titanium case watches for the last 30 years but this little beast takes the cake with flying colors. The customer service is nothing but outstanding and the hand written thank you card is heart warming. Keep up the excellent work :-) Now I can stop kicking myself for missing the Courg release...

This watch is a homage to the Waltham A 13A aircraft clock, which is what drew me into purchasing it.
Very nicely done in Titanium, and lightweight, I would have preferred a Swiss movement for the price. But other than that no complaints. A very nicely done timepiece.

Really happy with this watch, the HONNR 13A. It does so much, as promised. For v2, I hope Redux finds a way to make the bezel numbers (10..60) a bit bigger / easier to read.

Good watch

Yeah, I sent a survey response in. But since they sent me 2, I figured I would oblige them.

The watch arrived with a mechanical flaw. The crown falls out. I emailed. Repeatedly. I received a reply. And then nothing. This has gone on for 9 months. I understand shortages, supply chain issues and all of that. They haven’t even bothered to respond.

Too small for man

The finish of thr watch is simly perfect and I like the watch, even I expected sthe size to be a little bigger. Also the crown in the lower edge is not very user friendly, but on the other side looks great! Because the caliber keeps time and have a great reserve, the crown is not much used. The waiting was wort od the result!

Accuracy, technical features, lume, design, strap… this watch ticks all the boxes for me. Has 98% of wrist time since I received it. Despite manufacturing delay, Redux always keeped me informed, I’ve never been so eager to receive a monthly newsletter ! Overall excellent experience, thank you !

I haven't worn another watch since receiving my HONNR 13 months ago. It's perfect for me and I get compliments on it all the time. I'm often asked if it's a Bell & Ross. It's starting to run a little fast now though, about 4-5 minutes a week give or take. I need to investigate getting the movement recalibrated. Still love it though. It was worth every penny and the long wait.

Three years waiting. Got it, the second hand was off when I opened the box.

I got this watch as a Kickstarter backer and as such reviewing the Kickstarter journey is a necessity when reviewing the watch overall. Let's start with the watch - it is excellent. Well made, the titanium case beautifully finished with a surprisingly good bezel. Lume is decent too.

The Kickstarter journey was not so good - the watch was late over a year. This was mostly due to Covid 19, but I feel better and more frequent communication would have helped assuage backer concerns. Still the Redux team delivered so credit where credit's due.

Overall, I recommend the watch, especially now that it is available at regular retail. You'll not be disappointed.
