Wrist/Fit Experience
Wrist/Fit Experience
- Is it too small? I'm worried it won't fit me.
"Good fit and give the watch a lighter and more refined silhouette." Oliver H.
- Is it worth it?
" Great Higher End Strap.
The strap has a quality feel-from the thickness of the material to the titanium holders. If you have a nice watch, you need a nice strap." Samuel T.

“Excellent strap, very happy with the quality of the hardware and sturdy nylon fabric." James C.
We're excited to offer these reversed Cordovan straps, equipped with our exclusive titanium hardware design.
This Color 8 reverse side offers all the rugged durability and stretch-resistant-yet-supple nature of Cordovan, with an added unique character to each strap that will patina much more noticeably as you wear it in.
What makes Cordovan so rugged is that it isn't the hide (outer layer). Cordovan is actually from the fibrous flat muscle layer underneath, which is also more waterproof.
This all adds up to a much longer-lasting strap.
Horween marks their Cordovan leather hides with a black stamp. Very few straps bear the maker's mark optimally placed to add a bit of character.
We've hand selected the best of these and designated them in a special batch called Horween Signed.
*** Please note: Due to the very unique character of each strap and different ink splashes or drips or Horween marks, we know you will enjoy the distinctly one-of-a-kind strap — so we can't guarantee how each one turns out and that's the beauty of these straps. ***
Care: We recommend a good leather cleaner and conditioner.
Interesting fact: When Cordovan leather was initially developed, it quickly gained a reputation for its exceptional durability and strength. As a result, Cordovan became a prized material for military equipment, particularly for armor breastplates and shields in the 16-17th century.
I have many straps, many leather straps in particular. Horween cordovan speaks for itself. But I have never seen the inspiration to do a reverse implementation. Combined with the hide markings placed very carefully with the cut of the strap to frame the watch case, this strap offers fantastic character. The hardware is perfectly designed and chamfered for comfort. The matte finish works great with a Redux watch of course but closely matches the matte finish of other brands as well. The fit at the current length is spot on for a 7" wrist with no tail tucking or shortage for the hardware positioning. From a materials and quality perspective, it is also very fairly priced. You won't be disappointed with this one!
If I could offer one constructive comment; I'd like to see the position of the first keeper moved maybe 10-15mm further from the buckle. This would help to position the keepers at the classic outside of the wrist position with the buckle centering under the wrist. Very minor and personalized suggestion that in no way should convey dissatisfaction with the strap as is.
