The Fit.
Width: 20mm
Fits Wrists: 7.75 - 9.5 inches around. Don't know your wrist size? Use this handy cheat sheet, just download and print. (Pro tip: You can add more holes if needed. Any tailor, shoe repair, or self-respecting leather aficionado will own a leather punch.)
The Titanium Hardware.
This features our exclusive titanium hardware design, now with more refined and stone polished edges to take sharpness down a notch and up the comfort level. RDX logo etched in the buckle and Redux & Co. etched on first titanium keeper.
The American Leather.
Premium American made leather, supple with high contrast thick thread stitching. Hot stamped logo on the strap tail.
We selected leather from renown Wickett & Craig makers in Pennsylvania. This Wickett & Craig leather is traditionally used for saddles, holsters and sheaths. Skirting leather is painstakingly tanned and drum dyed by hand. These hides boasts a subtle waxy finish from the special treatment.
This version is a thinner variant of our most recent straps for easier installation and lighter feeling on the wrist. This leather is stiffer and offers reduced stretch compared to other softer leathers such as the Horween we've used in the past.
The Colors.
This Clay color is so close to the leather strap I used originally and many of you asked for, but we weren't able to source at the time. But now with the Wickett & Craig, this turned out so much better. The skirting leather matures nicely and develops a personalized patina based on how often you rock it.
Black. Pitch black. Black stitching. That is all.
This Rust color in particular portrays a wonderful character that deepens the leather feel when worn and bent. The distressed nature of this oiled latigo leather is a result of Wickett & Craig's special treatment:
"Oiled Latigo is hot dipped in a special mix of oils, waxes and tallows. Reinforced to withstand the elements, the lighters colors have a rich pull-up and display strong character."
The very special look of this oiled latigo is super difficult to capture, and my photos just aren't doing it justice. This color is a deep brown with a tinge of rust hue to it with the slightest touch of oxblood.
The NATO Strap.
This design is often referred to as a NATO strap, but the original name was G10. The British Military of Defense first issued spec G1098, and soldiers requisitioned their own from the quartermaster with the easier to remember G10.
The secondary strap prevents the watch case from sliding around on the strap and secures the watch where you want it on your wrist. And if one spring bar on the watch were ever to fail, this strap provides backup so your watch doesn't fall off the strap and into the abyss.
**Please note: Once the strap has been installed, it cannot be returned because the leather will be marked.

Say goodbye to generic, clumsy, and cheap strap hardware. You know your time machine deserves better.
We equipped our signature G10/NATO mil-strap black ballistic nylon strap with bead-blasted, exclusively-designed titanium hardware. We machine each buckle from a solid chunk of titanium so that there are zero weak points. No buckle spring bar failure that drops your watch into the abyss.
This is an upgraded ballistic nylon material where we incorporate a tighter weave that provides added flexibility and comfort, while preserving the rugged trustworthy dependability.
We make each strap with laser for precision slices that produce a clean finish. Then we sew the hardware on with matching color stitch thread. The strap has a very slight sheen that contrasts nicely.
Fact Check: This strap design is often referred to as a NATO strap, but the original name was G10. The British Military of Defense first issued spec G1098, and soldiers requisitioned their own from the quartermaster with the easier to remember G10. Now you know.

The beauty of ballistic nylon is that it's self sealing. You can trim off the tail if it's too long and use some gentle heat via lighter or stove burner to reseal the cut edge and prevent fraying.
Care: We recommend placing in a mesh bag and washing in cold water. Hang or lay flat to dry. DO NOT put in the dryer.
This strap will endure constant abuse and anything you throw at it for years to come and along the away it'll acquire a unique personality based on how and where you rock it.

Did you know? DuPont originally designed ballistic nylon during World War 2 to provide lightweight defense for pilots’ and airmen flak jackets to protect against metal shards or debris from inbound munitions. The researchers developed an exceptionally tight weave, typically basket pattern in 2×2. The thread pattern produces durable construction and limited stretch in all directions.
