COURG : Minimalist

Great Watch. I like the minimalist as I've learned I never use the date function on my watches. The bezel works great. I also like the crown at 4 o'clock. With Titanium, it's nice and light too which I like. I was surprised by how great the watch strap is -- Titanium/Nylon and very rugged - I wish I could buy more of them. The only thing I'd change about the watch is the height- little flatter would be nice, but since it's titanium, it's not clunking around on your wrist.

1. Good durability.
2. Time error rate is not large.
3. The watch is thick.
4. The diameter is small.
The diameter of 41-42 mm is appropriate.

I've had the Minimalist now for just over 2 months. I don't think it's fallen behind a single minute. Case is perfectly sized. I was concerned the numbers were going to be too small for the face with too much black space but in person it's just right. Lum is good, when charged I like the two colors. Bezel is crisp and tight. My other watches are not getting much use as this has become my favorite.

Im really into this minimalistic look for my watch. I wear it day and night, to all occasions. I got several watches, but sinds i got my hands on this one, i haven't used others!
The quality is top notch, and with the option to change the strap makes the possibilities much greater. Couldn't be happier for a sturdy watch.

Not enough superlum for nightime visability. Again, watches are about 2-3mm thicker than they should be.

Beautiful timepiece that delivers all it has promised and more. The well designed titanium case sits comfortably and nicely on the wrist, almost without me noticing that the watch is there except for a glance over its very legible and functional-look dial. The movement runs smoothly and keeps very accurate time. A personalized attention to each buyer is also a refreshing welcome in the world of mass retails where only numbers matter. Overall its value easily surpasses its cost.

The watch is lightweight, keeps time well, and is easy to read in bright light. But the glow-in-the-dark coloring isn't nearly as bright as it looks in the photos and the watch body is clunkier, and greyer, than it looks. If the minimalist watch caught your eye because you liked the feature set of the watch in general but wanted something with a bit more classic styling, the minimalist version isn't really classic enough. And, if you like the contemporary styling of the watch in general, the minimalist version doesn't have the style that the more retro versions have. So while it's a decent take, it falls into more into the problem space of "neither here nor there" and misses its target of "best of both worlds"

I love it, it can withstand damn near anything, I grabbed a couple of straps so that I can wear it equally well at work or when i go diving. And of course no batteries...

The watch itself is brilliant. The only negatives (personal opinion) the watch is kinda large so I cannot wear on the inside of my forearm, only facing outwards and that I keep getting thrown off because the date is @4 and I am used to 3.

Both of those things are personal issues, however the watch itself is brilliant!

The first 6 months of ownership were great! Unfortunately, after that, the watch stopped running. It was not dropped or mishandled, the movement just failed. I sent the watch in for repair. However, it has been almost 3 months now, and I still do not have the watch back. Furthermore, I have not been told what was wrong with the watch, or what the timeline is for it to be returned to me. I look forward to having my watch back.

Solid build quality with an excellent Seiko movement. The watch gets more beautiful everyday I wear it. I chose the minimalist 38. It's an amazing watch!
